Pedestrian killed in weekend crash east of London

A pedestrian is dead after a crash in Oxford County, east of London Saturday night.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them

A 61-year-old from South-West Oxford Township is dead after a crash in Oxford County, east of London Saturday night. 

At approximately 10:45 p.m., emergency crews were called to Highway 19 near South-West Oxford Township, police said. The investigation found that a pedestrian had been struck on a stretch of road between Keswick Road and Ostrander Road. 

The driver of the vehicle reported no injuries. 

The roads were closed for the investigation but have since reopened. 

Provincial police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
