Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash in Middlesex County

Crews rushed to Vanneck Road near McEwan Drive in Middlesex Centre on Saturday morning, where they found one motorcyclist had lost control and crashed. The rider was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

One person is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a weekend motorcycle crash northwest of London. 

Just after 7:30 a.m. Saturday, crews rushed to Vanneck Road near McEwan Drive in Middlesex Centre, police said, where they found one motorcyclist had lost control and crashed.

The rider was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

An early investigation found that two motorcycles were travelling southbound on Vanneck Road when the crash happened. 

Vanneck Road was closed between Sixteen and Fifteen Mile Roads for part of Saturday, but has since reopened.

The investigation is still ongoing.
