3 teens facing charges after car stolen at southeast Winnipeg gas station
Victim, 62, struck by car door when vehicle sped off

Three teenage boys are facing charges including robbery in connection with the theft of a car at a gas station on St. Anne's Road in southeast Winnipeg on Monday.
On March 31, city police received reports that a car had been stolen by force at the Shell station at St. Anne's Road and Clayton Drive, according to a news release issued Thursday.
Simran Kaur told CBC Manitoba the station's owner showed her and other staff CCTV footage of the crime.
She said the video shows the victim, 62, was inside the station when the assailants got into his 2017 Toyota Sequoia. Police confirmed to CBC that the car was running at the time.
When the victim saw them entering his vehicle, police say, he tried to intervene and was struck by a car door before it drove off. The man wasn't injured.
On Monday night, police say, they spotted the car in the Old St. Vital neighbourhood. Officers deployed a stop-stick at the intersection of Coniston Street and St. Mary's Avenue, and arrested the occupants without incident. A folding knife was seized, the report says.
A boy, 17, has been charged with robbery, possession of a weapon, and three counts of failure to comply with release order conditions. A second boy, 17, was charged with robbery and flight while pursued by a peace officer. The third boy, 14, has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
The identities of the accused teenagers are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
