Homicide detectives probe death of man found injured on Winnipeg street

Winnipeg police are investigating a man’s death as a homicide after he was found injured and lying on a sidewalk on Arlington Street.

Winnipeg police are investigating a man's death as a homicide after he was found injured and lying on a sidewalk on Arlington Street. 

Officers gave the man first aid and CPR after they found him in the 1100 block of Arlington Street, near Logan Avenue, Saturday at about 2 a.m., police said in a statement.

The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition where he died, police said.

Police still had a section of Logan Avenue near Arlington Street taped off on Saturday afternoon.
