Silver alert cancelled after missing man from Libau, Man., found safe

RCMP have issued a silver alert for a senior who left his home in southeastern Manitoba but did not arrive at his destination.

Manitoba RCMP have cancelled a silver alert for a man who went missing on Sunday after he was found safe. 

The 76-year-old man left at around 9 a.m. on Sunday from his home in Libau, Man., a community roughly 60 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg. 

Later on Sunday RCMP said the man was found safe. 

CBC News has removed the man's name and photograph now he has been found.
