Woman reported missing from The Pas found safe

A woman reported missing after she said she was headed to Winnipeg from a northern Manitoba town last week has been found safe, police say.

A woman reported missing after she said she was headed to Winnipeg from a northern Manitoba town last week has been found safe, police say.

The 27-year-old woman was last seen in The Pas on July 11, when she said she was headed to Winnipeg and would return on Monday, RCMP said Friday morning.

In an update on Friday afternoon, RCMP said the woman had been found safe.

CBC News has removed the woman's name and image to protect her privacy.
