Family worried about woman missing from Thompson since last week: RCMP

A woman who has been missing from Thompson, Man., since last week has not yet been found, police said Saturday.

A woman who has been missing from Thompson, Man., since last week has not yet been found, police said Saturday. 

Meah Weenusk, 21, was last seen leaving a Princeton-Drive home in a taxi on the morning of May 24, Thompson RCMP said in a statement.

The Mounties said they were contacted about the situation on Friday.

Police described Weenusk as about five feet seven inches tall, with a slim build and long black hair. She was last seen wearing glasses, a white tank top with a black sweater and black pants, RCMP said. 

Weenusk's family is worried for her safety, police said in the statement.
