Man, 52, charged with indecent exposure near Elmwood playground, wading pool
Man arrested at Brazier Street community centre Wednesday morning was wanted on outstanding warrants

A 52-year-old man has been charged after police received reports a person exposed himself near a playground and wading pool area in Winnipeg's Elmwood neighbourhood earlier this week.
Winnipeg police were called to a community centre on Brazier Street, east of Henderson Highway, around 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday with a report the man had exposed himself.
Officers arrived and arrested the 52-year-old, police said in a news release Friday.
They learned the man was wanted on three other outstanding warrants.
He has been charged with committing an indecent act, as well as charges of failing to comply with an appearance notice, failure to comply with an undertaking and failing to keep the peace.
A spokesperson for Winnipeg police told CBC News the man was also charged in 2024 with indecent exposure and voyeurism. Those charges are pending, police said.
Meanwhile, at least one of the warrants is related to charges that have since been stayed, police said.
The man remains in custody.
