Police arrest man, 75, for sexual assault of teen in Windsor park

The Windsor Police Service says it has arrested and charged a 75-year-old man in connection with the sexual assault of a minor in a local park.

The Windsor Police Service says it has arrested and charged a 75-year-old man in connection with the sexual assault of a minor in a local park.

Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault in the area of Riverside Drive East and Pillette Road on Monday just after 9 p.m. 

They say an elderly man had approached two 15-year-old girls in a park and engaged them in conversation before inappropriately touching one of the teens.

Officers quickly located the suspect in the area and arrested him.

He has been charged with sexual assault.
