Police in Trois-Rivières, Que., are investigating a single-vehicle collision that killed an 18-year-old woman on Saturday.
The incident took place around 12:20 a.m. on Thibeau Boulevard near Saint-Alexis Street, police confirmed.
The driver, an 18-year-old man, was taken to hospital to treat minor injuries.
The young woman was the only passenger.
An accident reconstructionist and investigator have been deployed to the scene.
Police said in a news statement published on Saturday that they would not provide more information while the investigation is ongoing.
