Clyde Marshall, 36, is wanted for first-degree murder, along with Sabrina Chouart, 27, of Gatineau, Que.

So far, police don't know whether the couple is heading east or west.

But Toronto police alerted Saint John police about the case.

Marshall has lived in Saint John and still has family and friends in the area.

"The Saint John Police Force is seeking public assistance for any information concerning the whereabouts of Clyde Marshall and Sabrina Chouart," they said in a statement on Monday.

"We don't have any information that leads us to believe [Marshall is] returning to this area," said Sgt. Lori Magee.

"But we would like the public to be aware that in fact, if he does, that his description has been provided and to use caution and treat him as if he were armed and dangerous," she said.

"Please do not approach."

Marshall is known to the Saint John Police Force for various violent offences involving weapons, Magee alleged.

Toronto Police issued arrest warrants for Marshall and Chouart after the body of 32-year-old Sina Parsi was found in a Toronto apartment on Friday.

Police have released few details about the case, but on Monday released new surveillance footage that shows the two suspects leaving the apartment where Parsi's body was found.

Homicide Detective Shawn Mahoney said there have been unconfirmed sightings of the pair in eastern and northern Ontario.

Winnipeg Police also issued a warning on Monday. "Possibly in Wpg. area," they posted on Twitter. "Do NOT approach, call police."

Toronto police issued a public appeal for the two suspects to turn themselves in.

Det.-Sgt. Mike Patterson said the pair have been on the run and are likely travelling with a large brown dog.

"The amount of tips that are coming in are, it's very exciting for us," he said. "The family is extremely distraught about this event and they're looking for answers themselves."

Marshall is described as being six feet tall, 145 pounds, with a thin build. He has short brown hair, blue eyes, and a tattoo on the right side of his neck and arm, police say.

Chouart is five-foot-seven, 130 pounds with a thin build and shoulder-length brown hair.
