Another day, and yet another medal for Newfoundland and Labrador's Katarina Roxon.

The swimmer from Kippens won the bronze medal in the 100-metre backstroke at the Parapan Am Games in Toronto on Thursday.

That's her fifth medal so far at the games.

On Wednesday, Roxon took home her third silver medal in the 200-metre individual medley. Fellow Canadian teammate Aurelie Rivard took the gold in the event, and the two embraced immediately after the finish.

22-year-old Roxon took home the gold medal on Tuesday in the 100-metre breast stroke.

She still has one more race on the schedule before the games wrap up this weekend.
