Agreed statement of facts being prepped for Ronald Thistle
A man accused of impaired driving causing death in 2013 is a step closer to entering a plea, as the Crown in the case says an agreed statement of facts is being prepared.

The Crown says an agreed statement of facts is being prepared in a case of impaired driving causing death in St. John's.
Ronald Thistle is accused of being impaired when he pulled from Polina Road onto Kenmount Road in August 2013.
Motorcyclist Nick Coates, who was driving on Kenmount Road, struck the side of Thistle's truck.
Coats, 27, died in hospital because of injuries sustained in the crash.
Thistle, 66, has yet to enter a plea in the case.
However, the Crown previously indicated they expected Thistle to enter a guilty plea.
The Crown and defence have asked to set sentencing dates for April 2 and 6.
Thistle has no prior convictions for impaired driving.
