Jason Momoa of Game of Thrones spotted in St. John's
If you thought you saw Khal Drogo from Game of Thrones walking around St. John's recently, you're right. Well, at least the actor who plays him is in town.
Jason Momoa, 35, is filming Frontier — a six-episode scripted series by Take the Shot Productions.
Created by Rob Blackie and Peter Blackie, Frontier will follow the struggle to "control wealth and power in the North American fur trade in the late 18th century," according to a news release from Bell in April.

Momoa, who will play Aquaman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016, was also in the province to shoot the movie Braven.
According to IMDb, Braven is about a logger who's forced to defend his family from drug runners.
It's listed Newfoundland as a filming location.

In a Q&A at a fan expo in September, Momoa was reported as mentioning his impending visit to Newfoundland.
"I haven't [been there] and I am pretty excited to go there. It looks pretty raw."
