A search and rescue crew from the 103 Search and Rescue Squadron in Gander airlifted a man to St. John's last week.

The Cormorant helicopter was dispatched to the Portuguese trawler Santa Isabel early in the evening Aug. 5 to transport a crew member to hospital.

The vessel was roughly 500 kilometres off the coast of St. John's.

There's no word on the condition of the crew member.
