3 people charged after raid at Yellowknife residence

In a news release, RCMP said they received information the day before that someone had been sexually assaulted at a residence on Bigelow Crescent. They were also told there were drugs and weapons in the house.

Three people have been charged after RCMP carried out a raid at a Yellowknife residence on Saturday. 

In a news release Wednesday, RCMP said they received information the day before that someone had been sexually assaulted at a residence on Bigelow Crescent. They were also told there were drugs and weapons in the house. 

Tevin McNeely, 28, Dean McNeely, 38, and Maureen McNeely, 61, all of Yellowknife, face various charges. 

Tevin McNeely is charged with one count of sexual assault, two counts of possessing a weapon contrary to a court order, forcible confinement and cocaine trafficking, among other charges

Dean McNeely is charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm and cocaine trafficking, among others, 

Maureen McNeely is charged with forcible confinement and possession of controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. 

Tevin McNeely and Dean McNeely were out on bail when they were arrested and remain in custody, RCMP said. Maureen McNeely was released on the condition to appear in court at a later date. 

RCMP said they also seized a shotgun and drug trafficking paraphernalia from the residence.
