Easter Seals Nova Scotia to get help with their Christmas baking from CBC Do Crew
Interested in volunteering? Get in touch with the Do Crew!
For the past 13 years, Easter Seals Nova Scotia has been raising funds by selling baked goods to local residents and businesses.
Last year the not-for-profit organization raised $10,000 from their made-from-scratch goodies and this year the CBC Nova Scotia Do Crew will be pitching in with the baking on Dec. 1.
The group helps Nova Scotians with disabilities or special needs by providing medical rehabilitation and equipment, skills training, supported employment and camping and recreation opportunities.
You can find out more about Easter Seals online, and you can also order your Christmas baking at that site.
Update: The Do Crew is now full for this volunteer opportunity. But stay tuned for our next event! To get more information about the DoCrew, e-mail Information Morning's Louise Renault at DoCrewNS@cbc.ca
