Moose Jaw police ask for public's help finding man facing child pornography, sexual assault charges

The Moose Jaw Police Service is asking for the public's help finding a 39-year-old who failed to show up to court as ordered.

Calvin Longworth is facing a long list of charges including multiple firearms and child pornography offences.

Longworth was initially charged after Moose Jaw police executed a search warrant on Feb. 25 as part of a firearms investigation. Police seized a handgun, ammunition and electronic devices.

Officers eventually charged Longworth with multiple firearms offences and he was released with a court date.

He failed to attend his court date and an arrest warrant was issued.

Officers searched the seized electronic devices and found child pornography, police say.

Additional search warrants resulted in more charges against Longworth including:

• Making child pornography.
• Accessing and possessing child pornography.
• Arranging to commit a sexual offence against a child.
• Sexual interference.
• Invitation to sexual touching.
• Sexual assault.
