Enjoy the vibrant fall colours - winter isn't far away

CBC reporter Jason Warick began with a simple idea: concoct a way to get out of the office and enjoy one of the final shirt sleeve days of 2017.

Temperatures reached the mid 20s Friday and should hit that again Saturday. 

Warick retraced the path he took on a run last winter in -41C, shooting photos from the exact same spots as well as a few others. Compare this week's bright yellow, orange and red leaves to January's landscape of white hoarfrost.
