Saskatoon police investigate hit and run that sent 18-year-old to hospital

Saskatoon police are investigating a hit and run that happened just after midnight CST on July 23 and sent an 18-year-old man to hospital.

It happened in the Centennial Collegiate parking lot.

Police say a large group of young people was in the parking lot behind the high school.There was an altercation, and the 18-year-old was hit by a vehicle and seriously hurt.

The driver took off, but later contacted police.

Police say charges are pending.
