Roads have reopened near High Park after a diesel spill on the roadway on Tuesday morning, emergency crews said.
Officers responded to an oil or gas spill near Bloor Street W. and Parkside Drive around 6:45 a.m., Toronto police said in a post on X warning of a hazard in the area.
No injuries have been reported.
Images from the scene on Tuesday show a municipal truck cleaning up the spill.
Toronto Fire said the incident was caused by a diesel truck. It is not known whether the truck is still on scene, they said.
It is believed the same truck spilled diesel on Keele Street and Parkside Drive, fire crews said.
Bloor Street W. eastbound was closed at High Park Avenue, but has reopened, police said.
