Durham transit driver arrested for alleged impaired driving

A Durham RegionTransit (DRT) driver has been arrested for allegedly driving a bus while impaired in Oshawa.

Police say they received reports of an On Demand bus being driven in a reckless manner.

A Durham Region Transit (DRT) driver has been arrested for allegedly driving a bus while impaired in Oshawa.

Police say they responded to reports of an On Demand bus being driven recklessly in the area of Conlin Road and Manor Drive around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday. 

Officers arrested a 32-year-old resident of Toronto, and charged him with Operation While Impaired.

He was released on an undertaking.
