One dead after single-vehicle collision in Mississauga: police

A person has died after a single-vehicle collision in Mississauga Wednesday morning, police say. 

Officers responded to the crash near Cawthra Road and Dundas Street E. around 4:30 a.m., Peel police said in a social media post Wednesday.

A male victim was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition, where he later died. 

All north and south lanes for Cawthra Road are closed, police said.
