Woman, 68, dies after being hit by school bus in Oshawa

A woman died in hospital on Monday after being hit by a school bus in Oshawa nearly two weeks ago, police say.

A woman died in hospital on Monday after being hit by a school bus in Oshawa nearly two weeks ago, police say. 

The incident happened on April 23 around 2:45 p.m. near Simcoe Street S. and Mill Street, Durham police said in a news release Monday. 

The woman, 68, was crossing Simcoe Street S. when she was hit by a school bus. She was taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. 

Police are still investigating the incident.
