There's a precautionary boil water advisory for parts of Leamington. Here's what to do

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has issued what it calls a precautionary boil water advisory for some residents of Leamington after an adverse water sample result.

The health unit is advising affected residents to bring water to a hard boil for one minute before consuming

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has issued what it calls a precautionary boil water advisory for some residents of Leamington after an adverse water sample result.

It says residents of the affected area should bring water to a hard boil for one minute before drinking it or using it in food, ice preparation or infant feeding.

They can also opt to use bottled water instead.

The advisory applies to residents at the following locations who are serviced by the Leamington drinking water system:

  • 2-13 Fuller Ave. 
  • 6-35 Grace Ave. 
  • 1-12 Kimball Ave.
  • 14-30 Nancy Ave. — except for 17 as this property is serviced from Pearl Avenue.
