Windsor collision sends pedestrian to hospital with life-threatening injuries

A 30-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle in the middle of the intersection at Huron Church Road and Tecumseh Road West, say police.

A 30-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle in the middle of the intersection at Huron Church Road and Tecumseh Road West.

Police say it happened around 9:30 p.m., Tuesday.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, according to police.

There's been no word from authorities whether charges are expected at this time as they continue to probe the circumstances around the collision.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information or video footage is asked to contact police.
