Police say officers responded at around 8 p.m. Thursday to a report of an indecent act in the 400 block of Giles Boulevard East.

"An investigation revealed that a man stopped his vehicle in front of a residence, and after exiting, exposed his genitals and committed an indecent act in the presence of children," police said in a statement Friday.

Police say they obtained a photo of the suspect and a licence plate number, and a few hours later he turned himself in at Windsor police headquarters.

The man has been charged with exposing genitals to a person under 16 for sexual purposes.
