A fire tore through multiple townhouses on Blackwood Place in St. John’s on Saturday morning. A neighbour noticed the fire burning outside a home and knocked on the door, alerting the people inside who were unaware of the blaze. St. John’s Regional Fire Department Platoon Captain Ed Sears spoke to reporters at the scene.
