The Carlson family takes on their third decade — the swingin' '60s — where they try out wacky winter snacks and the hottest fashion trends of the decade.

The Carlson's time-travelling adventure continues into the swinging, and snowy, 1960s. As a '60s housewife, Melanie takes on some weird winter chores including bathing her house plants and shampooing her rugs.

Dave takes to the ice for some downtime with the guys, playing a game of '60s-style pick-up hockey, but worn-in skates make staying upright a struggle. The Carlson girls experience winter life without screens, taking on mod make-up, wacky winter snacks, and an old-school dating themed board game.

The family celebrates the end of the decade with a winter backyard bonfire and sing-a-long.
