A man died Thursday after being stabbed in Brantford, Ont., police say.

Officers arrested and charged one man with crimes including accessory after the fact to murder. They're also searching for a 27-year-old man they want to arrest for second-degree murder, Brantford Police Service said in a Thursday news release.

Around 4:15 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a residence on Charlotte Street where they found one man suffering from stab wounds, who died "a short time later," the release said.

Police said the victim knew his attackers and "this is not believed to be a random incident."

They described the wanted man as six foot two inches and about 155 pounds, with long dark hair. Police said they consider him "armed and dangerous," and warn against approaching him.

They asked anyone to let them know if they find the man or have video footage related to the alleged stabbing.
