Police in Waterloo region are reminding drivers to clear all the snow off their vehicles after pulling over a car Friday morning because snow covered almost all of its windows.

"Don't feel like clearing snow off your vehicle? Well, it could cost you," police tweeted at 6 a.m., along with photos of the four-door white car that showed just a portion of the back windshield had cleared.

The driver of the vehicle was handed a $110 ticket for driving with an obstructed view.

Waterloo region had its first snowstorm of the season Thursday evening into Friday. Environment Canada is forecasting another 6 centimetres could fall Friday into Saturday.
