St. Thomas police investigating early-morning shooting in southwest end

St. Thomas, Ont., police are investigating after finding bullet holes in a southwest-end residence early Tuesday morning.

No injuries have been reported, police say

St. Thomas Police said Wednesday they're investigating both homicide and arson after a fire and life-threatening injury at the same address.

St. Thomas, Ont., police are investigating after finding bullet holes in a southwest-end residence early Tuesday morning.

They were called to the area of Erie Street and Talequah Street just after 1 a.m. ET neighbours heard gunshots, and ended up finding evidence of gunfire. 

"At this time, police believe this was a targeted incident, with no threat to public safety," police said in a statement. 

No injuries were reported. 

Police said they would be in the area as the investigation continues and request that the public stay away.
