Woodstock man charged with trafficking teen girl turns himself in
The girl first met the man online in 2023, police say

A Woodstock man charged with a number of human trafficking-related offences involving a teenage girl has turned himself in to London police.
The teen first met the man online in October 2023, police said, and they became involved in an intimate relationship.
In November 2023, the man suggested the girl start working as a sex worker. The man began advertising the victim's services online for money.
On one occasion while at a hotel in London in the 800-block of Exeter Road in the city's south end, the man and girl argued because she said she no longer wanted to work as a sex worker. That's when police say the man assaulted the victim.
The teen contacted police in April 2025, and the investigation was assigned to the London Police human trafficking unit.
As a result, Cory Robert Fowler, 42, is facing charges including trafficking of a person under the age of 18 years; financial/material benefit/trafficking person under 18; material benefit from sexual services provided by person under 18 years; procuring/person under 18; advertising another person's sexual services, and assault.
Fowler was charged by way of warrant of arrest. Police were asking the public for assistance in finding him, but later announced Thursday morning he had turned himself in.
Fowler is scheduled to appear in London court on Thursday afternoon.
