Man, 63, dies in ATV rollover in western Manitoba

A 63-year-old man is dead after the ATV he was driving rolled off a highway in western Manitoba.

A 63-year-old man is dead after the ATV he was driving rolled off a highway in western Manitoba.

RCMP were called around 10:30 p.m. on May 30 to Highway 482, one kilometre west of the community of Dropmore.

When officers arrived, several bystanders were trying to help the seriously injured driver, police said in a news release on Tuesday.

The man, from Dropmore, was rushed to hospital and then airlifted to Winnipeg for further treatment, but died from his injuries.

The man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, police said.
