Millennium Library shut down after man's death on Wednesday
Police say death of 40-year-old man, found injured at the library, is considered non-suspicious

Winnipeg's downtown library was shut down on Thursday after police say a 40-year old man died after being found there on Wednesday evening.
Hours of operation on the City of Winnipeg website showed that the Millennium library was "closed until further notice" on Thursday, a day when the city's largest library is typically open. The library will remain closed on Friday, and is expected to reopen at 1 p.m. on Saturday, the website said.
The Winnipeg Police Service said in a Thursday email that officers were "on scene of an investigation" on Wednesday, and later confirmed that a man died as a result of the incident.

Police say they responded to a medic call on Wednesday around 7:30 p.m., and when they arrived at the downtown library they found a 40-year-old male with significant injuries.
He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Police say it has been determined that the death is non-suspicious, and said they will offer no further comment on the incident.
