Manitoba RCMP ask for help to solve homicide of 24-year-old last seen alive 1 year ago
Trevin Steele was last seen in Creighton, Sask., on May 24, 2024; body was found in Flin Flon a week later

Manitoba RCMP are asking for the public's help as they investigate the killing of a man who went missing one year ago and was later found dead.
Trevin Steele, 24, was last seen in Creighton, Sask., just across the provincial border from Flin Flon, Man., on May 24, 2024. He last made contact with family around 3 a.m. earlier that day, RCMP previously said.
Steele was found dead at a home in Flin Flon on June 2, 2024.
Police believe his death was a homicide, but no arrests have been made and no suspects have been publicly identified.
A statement from Steele's family, included in a RCMP release last year, said he was compassionate, well-mannered and protective of his family and close friends.
In an update Saturday, Mounties said they are still working "to find answers for Trevin's family."
"We know there are people out there that have crucial information that can help move this homicide investigation forward," RCMP said.
They are asking anyone with information to contact the Flin Flon detachment at 204- 687-1422, or contact Crim Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, or online at manitobacrimestoppers.com.
