A 68-year-old man is dead after an ATV crash in Pouch Cove over the weekend.

Police are investigating an ATV crash that left one man dead on the Avalon Peninsula.

In a statement, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says officers responded to a report of a crash around 1:20 p.m. on June 8. A 68-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.

The single ATV collision is believed to have happened overnight.

The RNC is investigating and collision analysts are searching for video footage from the area that may have captured the collision.
