RCMP investigating woman's death in Ross River, Yukon, a week ago

Police said Thursday that 26-year-old Skye Dick of Ross River had been injured "reportedly from an incident involving a motor vehicle," and that she died from her injuries.

Yukon RCMP's major crime unit and Ross River RCMP are investigating the death of a woman in that community last week.

Police said they were called to a residence Ross River on April 10, in a news release Thursday evening.

They said 26-year-old Skye Dick had been injured "reportedly from an incident involving a motor vehicle," and that she died from her injuries.

An autopsy was done on Wednesday and police said a pathology report is expected in the "weeks to come."

Police have released no other details.
