Five years after he was last seen in his grandmother's yard, the Truro Police Service is looking for information to help solve the disappearance of Dylan Ehler.

The three-year-old boy vanished in May 2020 while playing outside his grandmother's house in Truro, N.S. After a six-day search, no trace of him was found other than his boots.

Firefighters found one of Dylan's boots in the water of Lepper Brook, a stream close to the grandmother's home. The other boot was found further down the brook at the mouth of the Salmon River.

In a post to social media on Tuesday, police shared photos of the boy along with age progression illustrations and images of the clothes he was wearing the day he went missing. Police said his disappearance remains an active investigation.
