Man killed in head-on collision between tractor trailer, pickup truck
A 46-year-old man died after a head-on collision between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck south of Casselman Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened in Finch and the victim was from Kemptville
A 46-year-old man was killed in a head-on collision between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck south of Casselman Tuesday afternoon, according to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
Police said they responded to the collision on County Road 43 in Finch around 4:20 p.m. The unnamed man from Kemptville who was driving the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured, OPP said on social media..
An investigation is ongoing and police are asking for information about it, especially footage.
The crash happened about 17 kilometres south of Casselman and 60 kilometres southeast of downtown Ottawa.
