Single-vehicle accident kills man who'd been reported missing, Charlottetown police say

Police say a man from the East Royalty area who had been reported missing has been found dead due to a single-vehicle accident.

Police say a man from the East Royalty area who had been reported missing has been found dead. 

The 44-year-old man died due to a single-vehicle accident, the Charlottetown Police Service said in a news release late Wednesday afternoon.

"His death is not believed to be suspicious in nature," the news release said. "Our thoughts are with the family, friends and community at this time."

A previous message from the police said the man had been last seen the evening of Friday, June 20, and might have been travelling on his dirt bike.
