Regina police investigating 4th homicide of 2025

Regina police have identified a 22-year-old man as the victim of the city's fourth homicide of 2025.

Officers responded to Marshall Crescent north of the rail yards on First Avenue North at about 2 a.m. CST on May 30. They found a dead man.

He has since been identified as Wahkia Ewalk.

Police continue to investigate the case and are asking anyone with lives nearby — within the perimeter of First Avenue North, Forget Street, Third Avenue North and Osborne Crescent — and has exterior video surveillance to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Regina Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
