Windsor man charged after alleged weekend assault in St. Clair Beach, OPP says

The OPP says a Windsor man is facing an aggravated assault charge after an alleged incident in St. Clair Beach over the weekend.

The OPP says a Windsor man is facing an aggravated assault charge after an alleged incident in St. Clair Beach over the weekend.

Officers responded to an assault report on Arlington Boulevard near Hayes Avenue in Tecumseh on Sunday at around 8 p.m., the OPP said in a press release Tuesday. A 56-year-old Windsor man was charged with aggravated assault as a result, police said.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Windsor in early August, the OPP said.
