Windsor fire officials say one person has been transported to Hamilton for burn treatment after a fire Thursday on Pelissier Street, just north of Elliott Street.

Nine vehicles responded to the fire Thursday afternoon, according to a series of posts by Windsor Fire and Rescue Services on X.com (formerly Twitter).

Crews shut off natural gas to the building and applied water to the structure.

Officials are investigating the cause of the fire and will continue their investigation Friday, the service said.
