The Windsor Police Service says it's launched an investigation into a Thursday fire on Pelissier Street that sent one man to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are asking neighbours and business owners in the area to check their surveillance or dashcam footage for possible evidence.

Police responded to a report of a fire on Pelissier, just north of Elliott Street, shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, according to a news release issued Monday.
Officers arrived to find heavy smoke and flames at the home.
The fire is believed to have originated on a mattress, Windsor Fire and Rescue Services officials said in a post on the social media platform X.com.
Windsor Fire and Rescue Services worked to extinguish the blaze and found a 43-year-old man with significant burns.
The man was transported to a hospital in Hamilton for treatment.
Two people were displaced from the address, fire officials said.
The Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) has also launched an investigation into the fire, police said.
