Windsor police searching for suspects after someone set fire to sports car

Windsor police say they’re investigating after someone set fire to a sports car on Roseland Drive West Tuesday morning.

Windsor police say they're investigating after someone set fire to a sports car on Roseland Drive West, west of the golf course onTuesday morning.

They were called to the scene around 2 a.m., according to a post on the Windsor Police Service's X.com feed on Tuesday.

They arrived to discover the silver sports car fully engulfed in flames. 

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services quickly extinguished the blaze.

No physical injuries were reported; however, the vehicle was destroyed.

The Windsor Police Service arson unit is searching for suspects, saying the fire was deliberately set.

Investigators are urging residents in the area of the incident to review surveillance or dashcam footage from between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. for suspicious activity or individuals.
