Fire officials say the cause of a Thursday night house fire in the south Walkerville area of Windsor will go down as undetermined.

It happened at a residence on Moy Avenue near Vimy Avenue — not far west from the Stellantis assembly plant.

A fire investigator was unable to enter the house because it was deemed unsafe.

The blaze caused $600,000 in damage and displaced three people. No one was hurt.

Fire officials say they received the call around 9:40 p.m., and that multiple vehicles responded.

Susan Garlatti, who lives nearby, emailed CBC News calling it a "very intense" fire and "quite dramatic."
