Windsor fire sends person to hospital, fire service says

A person has been taken to hospital with second and third degree burns after a fire on Dougall Avenue, Windsor Fire and Rescue Services says.

A person has been taken to hospital with second and third degree burns after a fire on Dougall Avenue, Windsor Fire and Rescue Services says.

It happened on Thursday night near Pine Street, according to a series of posts on the service's X.com feed.

Three dogs in the house at the time were not injured.

The fire started in the kitchen, the fire service said, and caused an estimated $80,000 damages.
