Polling station moved to nearby high school due to fire at WFCU Centre
The blaze, on a portion of the building's roof, was quickly brought under control

A fire at a polling station in east Windsor on federal election day meant voters cast their ballots at a nearby school instead.
The Monday fire was reported around 10 a.m., with smoke seen coming from the south side of the roof of the WFCU centre. The building was evacuated. Windsor Fire and Rescue Services says the blaze caused an estimated $1,000,000 to solar panels and roofing material. The fire was quickly brought under control, the city of Windsor says.
Elections Canada says the federal election polling station held at the community centre was moved to St. Joseph's Catholic High School.
Kieran Sharma and her husband had to change their voting plans and head to the new high school location because of the fire.
"The excitement is just to vote today," she told CBC News.
"The relocation is very close to our house so we are fine with that — no complaint.
A fire investigator has been called in to try and determine the cause and origin of the blaze.

No injuries have been reported.
The City of Windsor says all programming at the WFCU Centre is cancelled until noon on Tuesday.
