Highway 403 reopened in Hamilton after tractor-trailer crash

All westbound lanes on Highway 403, close to Main Street in Hamilton, have reopened after being closed for several hours following a tractor-trailer collision overnight.

All westbound lanes on Highway 403, close to Main Street in Hamilton, have reopened after being closed for several hours following a tractor-trailer collision overnight.

The crash happened around 11 p.m. Thursday and Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initially said that three westbound lanes were closed as "clean-up efforts" were underway.

In an update at 3:38 a.m., OPP said the two left lanes had re-opened, while the right lane remained closed.

In a further update at 8:55 a.m. the OPP said all lanes have now reopened. 

No one was injured in the collision, OPP said.
